Sketch Frenzy Friday 10/24/14

Hello to all my blogging friends, I hope this post finds you all well and happy!

Hope you all had a great week and are getting used to this cooler weather?
We are supposed to get snow flurries next week! Can you believe snow already?

This weeks sketch was created by Elizabeth Harris

I knew this was going to be such a great sketch to work with! Great job Elizabeth and thanks for the inspiration!

This is what I came up with;

I made a little surprise insert out of the front piece. Just unwrap the little ribbon and there you have it a little extra sentiment surprise!

I really like to combine extra fun folds into my cards! It's like getting two cards in one! I tucked the extra fold out piece under the background DSP and added a Brad and some Daffodil Delight Ribbon to make the closure.

Here is a look at the inside;

I used several sentiment stamps from the Bravo stamp set in creating this card. The stars are from the Project Life - Point and Click stamp set. The Brad and the Paper Clip are from Paper Pumpkin. I used Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss Inks. The two DSP scraps are from the Moonlight Paper Pack. I used Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon and Island Indigo Card Stock.

I hope you too find some time to create something fun this week and use our sketch to help inspire you. Here is a link to our blog. We would all love to see what you came up with! http://www.sketchfrenzyfriday.blogspot.com/

Until next week,

Patrice

Love the fun fold. Is the grid looking paper a stamp or did you use the grid paper from SU? Very cute card!

Patrice....I really love this. What a cheery card and the extra space is pretty cool. You like all those extra folds and things LOL I'm doing good just to get it to look like a card! Great job! ;)
